Virus protection
WorkgroupMail can protect your network from email-bourne viruses, Trojans and worms, ensuring that your email arrives to its destination, free from viruses. WorkgroupMail lets you optionally check each incoming and outgoing message for viruses before it is sent or received. This is much more desirable than relying on anti-virus software installed on each client computer.
Content filtering

WorkgroupMail is database-driven. This has many speed advantages over equivalent file-based mail servers. Additionally, it makes it possible to cluster several WorkgroupMail servers, all sharing the same message store, thus increasing scalability when required and providing redundancy during computer failure.
