sQusi Plus is an advanced Web service that stops companies from tracking you across the Web and building profiles of your behavior through tracking cookies, scripts and files.
These devices are placed on your computer without your permission and attention data that rightfully 'belongs' to you is sold to others without your consent and without compensation.
sQusi Plus does everything that sQusi Tracking Blocker does but also gives users the ability to track trackers using its Spydar technology. Spydar logs every cookie that is read by more than one unique site and allows you to clear all such cookies with one click.
While most such cookies are blocked by sQusi before they can get on your computer, some will get though because it's often impossible to tell the good ones from the bad ones beforehand.
You'll be surprised at who is watching. SQusi Plus will also allow you to track each and every program that connects to the Web and do a reverse lookup.
How sQusi Works
The sQusi desktop client runs in the background on your computer. Whenever you load a new web page in your browser, sQusi checks the URLs received, and if any of them are listed in its local or global database on your computer as needing to be blocked, it blocks them before they can be stored on your computer.
Similarly, if the global database lists a blocked URL you think is legitimate, you can override it by selecting Block/Unblock List from the menu and entering the exact URL in your local Unblock list.
sQusi uses a continuously and automatically updated database that resides on your computer. It has an auto-update feature that does this with no effort on your part. It regularly checks with sQusi's servers for updates, downloads them and asks your permission to install them.
The sQusi Difference
Unlike many popular browser-specific plug-ins and extensions, sQusi will work with both Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows 2/ XP/Vista. In addition, sQusi combines the functionality of several available extensions (ad blocking, script blocking and cookie/cache cleaning) in a single application that requires zero effort on your part.
SQusi will not interfere with the proper functioning of your favorite sites. What you will notice immediately is a lot of great open space on many of the pages you visit - space previously occupied by ads. And in many instances the page may actually load faster because it does not have to load big ad files.
Compatibility
sQusi works on any computer that runs Windows 2/XP/Vista operating systems. SQusi works with Internet Explorer and Firefox. We have not comprehensively tested sQusi with Netscape and Opera.
Please be aware that sQusi Plus which uses a different technology from sQusi Tracking Blocker, has known problems with Internet Explorer when and only when, the Windows OS you use, has a corrupted serial number key or it is (as Microsoft might say) a “Non-Genuine” version. The reason is that Internet Explorer is a part of Windows whereas Firefox is a separate application. If you have such problems, consider using Firefox.
