Secure FTP Server’s “five minute configuration” enables rapid setup and implementation through the use of configuration templates/a setup wizard. Once integrated, a typical architecture places Secure FTP Server in a Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) of your corporate network. Alternative configurations include intranet deployment.

Your customers can connect with any file transfer client application that supports one or more of the following Internet protocols: FTP, FTPS (FTP over SSL or TLS), HTTP/S and SFTP (SSH2's secure file transfer program).

If you need a fast way to give customers, clients, or partners a secure connection without compromising your security, Secure FTP Server with the optional HTTPS module allows them to connect to you securely with a web browser. No software installation or training required.

For optimal performance and increased security, GlobalSCAPE recommends CuteFTP Professional, which complements Secure FTP Server with multi-protocol support and the ability to accelerate transfer speeds and data integrity validation.
