POPtimize is a POP3 (email) proxy that runs on your PC and sits between your email client (Outlook Express, Outlook, Eudora, etc.) and organizes the receipt of your email so that your smallest messages arrive first.
Frequent travellers arrive weary in hotel rooms around the world and dial in to send and receive email. Typically on a 56k modem or worse. Many times they'll be waiting for a simple reply to a query they sent out earlier. Something with a yes or no answer.
Many times they'll end up sitting through an hours long download of the latest marketing presentation that's been sent to everyone. That presentation can get downloaded first blocking all the other important small mails that are behind it.
With POPtimize the small messages arrive first. The big ones wait for later. POPtimize organizes the mail in ascending order of size, so that you can be getting on with reading and answering mail while the big stuff arrives.
