  • User validation through:
  • *Standard window-based Basic Authentication.
  • *Custom web-based Cookie Authentication.
  • *Client IP address.
  • *Client User-agent.
  • *Client Referrer.
  • User/password credentials can be stored on external database with ODBC connection, or on INI-style text file.
  • INI-style configuration files for easiest development of custom applications.
  • Independent of NT users, IISGate uses its own users database.
  • Configure access restrictions to directory level. All subdirectories and files will inherit the same policies.
  • Personalized user redirection following authentication (not for external DB).
  • Can set user account expire in x h:min after first successful login (not for external DB).
  • Attack protection: client not authenticated after x number of bad logins in x seconds are blocked for x minutes.
  • Can manage concurrent login events for disabling user and/or display warning message to clients for x h:min
  • Easy to use, not requires programming, scripting or web development experience.
  • Can administer IISGate from all computers on LAN.
  • Can organize users in Groups.
  • Log to Windows NT/2000/2003 event log service and/or standard text file and/or sending email.
