Checkproject is an application that detects redundant or missing pictures and pages of the project.
After analysis, missing and redundant objects are displayed. The results may printed out and redundant objects may displaced to other directories.
Intructions:
In any case start with the option 'Preraration of Analysis'. You have first to open all directories belonging to the project.By this you 'collect' all pages and pictures of the project.
The analysis is concerned to pages with html-, htm, and css – extensions and pictures with jpeg, jpg, png, and gif – extensions.
By the following process the program find redundant and missing objects by cross-examinations.
To avoide failures it is recomended first to displace redundant pages and after this the picture-analysis.
The program finds with high safeness missing objekts - and this is most important. Redundant pages - including there pictures - with reciprocal links may be ignored.
By the option 'Charactercheck in Names' you find filenames with unallowable charcters. The correction avoids incorrect display of pages.
