basiCommunication is a useful tool that was designed to allow organizations to set up a multi-room discussion network. Universities, schools, corporations, and even clubs can use this software to set up their own online collaboration network.
Students and instructors can log on to the network and participate in online study sessions. Using the virtual chalkboard feature, instructors and students can more easily show each other free body diagrams for physics, integrals in calculus - you name it!
In a corporate setting, employees can log on to the network and share Excel files, Word documents, .zip archives - up to 20 megabytes per user.
basiCommunication also supports up to 200 rooms, enabling members to create their own rooms as others fill up with users. Each room can also be moderated, as members are assigned certain ranking.
Teachers and administrators do not have to worry about it consuming their busy schedule - it is truly a "run it and forget it" network that comes alive the moment users log on. As more members join the network, they can create their own study sessions and even password-protect them for special meetings. One exciting feature is that users can be in more than one room at a time!
If a member's schedule conflicts with a predetermined time to go online and take part in a meeting, it's not a big deal! basiCommunication allows users to save discussions online for others to look over at their own convenience.
