Web Voice Chat is a useful tool for voice and/or text communication on web sites.

It can be used:

- in the distance learning web based applications for voice/text communication between teacher and students;
- on the e-commerce web sites for voice communication between customer and help desk;
- on the corporate web sites for voice communication between remote offices.

Web Voice Chat consists of:

  • Public Room with text chat;
  • Private Rooms for 2 users voice and text chat. Voice chat in the Private Rooms works in the full-duplex mode. Also, file transfer is possible;
  • Conference Rooms for many users. In the Conference Rooms the voice chat is possible in the following way: one user speaks – other users listen.
  • Web Voice Chat requires 28.8kbps Internet connection. So, usual dial-up Internet connection is enough for successful work. Web voice chat is client/server application. Client software is Java applet. So, it can be easy integrated to web site.
