StrongDisk Pro will create protected disks inside the Windows operating system. With such disks you can work as with usual hard drive - The main difference is that all data written to the disk is encrypted "on fly", while the content of the protected disk is stored in common file with arbitrary name.

In order to access existing protected disk user must enter password, which is specified during disk creation, and/or insert electronic key or diskette with key file. Without required password and/or a key nobody, including developers, can access the secret data on the protected disk, even if intruders possess the physical media.

After the password is entered, the disk is mounted, and you can write any data to and read from the disk in so-called "transparent" mode. You don't need to copy files from the protected disk to your hard drive before working with them.

  • StrongDisk Pro allows you to wipe the free space on a disk and wipe files. Swap file can be wiped on PC shutdown. This ensures that deleted files will never be recovered by special disk tools like GetDataBack, Recover4all, or other tools.

  • Flexible Hotkey Settings for StrongDisk Pro operations like mounting, dismounting, opening main windows and so on.

    Any Type of Removable Storage Medium Support

    No Backdoors Present

  • 64 megabytes of RAM;
  • 5 megabytes of free disk space for program modules of StrongDisk Pro Basic/Standard/Solo/LAN;
  • A free space on a hard disk for protected disks;
  • License server with license hardware key for StrongDisk Pro LAN;
  • Free USB-port for every electronic key;
  • PKCS compliant electronic key is necessary for StrongDisk Standard/Solo. Others can also use electronic keys but it is not active constraint.
  • USB Flash Drive for StrongDisk Pro Travel.
