It incorporates attributes of a subject as well as the equipment and settings used to capture the image. This information, along with a thumbnail representation of the image, is stored in a database.
This repository of information can be queried using a versatile set of criteria and the results of these searches can be saved in a portfolio.
The thumbnails of searched images or portfolios can be printed as a contact sheet for perusal purposes.
