M-Files takes a whole new approach to document management. This modern application organizes documents to a single location, where they are easily accessible and retrievable for the entire organization at all times.
M-Files is well suited also for small and medium-sized companies. It is quick and easy to take into use and does not require a costly customization project. M-Files gives you total control of all of your organization's documents, from small office documents to complex CAD drawings.
With M-Files, invoice circulation can be done electronically, and documents can be published at the company web site. If you connect M-Files to a scanner, you can input paper documents - and all company documents will be stored in the same place. At the same time, you can be sure that your documents remain available but safe.
You can also manage projects and customers through the familiar M-Files user interface. You can use Quick Search to quickly locate the customer and edit the customer's information. At the same time, version information is stored. This allows you to return to view older customer information at need. Projects and customers can be grouped just like documents. You can link documents to projects and manage the customer database. Naturally you can set permissions so that viewing and editing information is restricted to the user groups of your choice.
Defining and monitoring tasks is easiest where the task documents are located. With the Workflow feature, the company's routines can be widely automated and tasks can be assigned to the right persons at the right time.
