ImageIron features
  • Outstanding precision (residue distortion far below 1 pixel), since even manufacturing inaccuracies are completely taken into account (radial asymmetric distortion as well as tangential distortion). Thus ImageIron uniquely positions against competitor products.
  • Suitable for all cameras and lenses (resolution >= 1024*768 pixel)
  • Detailed output of the residue distortion after the calibration enables a reliable tolerance determination.
  • Ease of use. Using the step-by-step instruction, with quite small effort pictures are taken of a point map, which are afterwards processed fully automatic to camera/lens-specific calibration parameters by ImageIron.
  • Batch image correction. You just have to collect a list of images that shall be calibrated, select a destination folder, set the output options, and ImageIron automatically applies the calibration parameters according to the EXIF information.
  • Parameter export: Clear distortion- and vignetting-parameter representation as curves and as diagram. Additionally the export as ssv table is possible (e.g. for quality control and camera lenses evaluation).
  • Note: for this feature the additional Data-Export-Licence is needed.
  • Comfortable update feature enables to always keep ImageIron up-to-date to be able to contemporarily use innovations and improvements.
