ASCii.art enables you to convert your pictures to textfiles. It allows you to convert your .bmp, .jpg or .gif file to a .html or .rtf file. You can choose which text the pixel should represent in the target text file.
The created textfile looks nearly like the original picture using colored text. To reduce the size of the target text files you are able to resize the source image or sample down the image format from 24bit down to 1bit.
