Pic Puppy is very simple to use. First understand that Pic is a utility tool/media player. The basic components of Pic are the CHOOSE list, SAVING list and the DISPLAY DIALOG. All of the Control menu items and Tool menu items work off of the list. The viewing/hearing of media is with the DISPLAY DIALOG.
The CHOOSE list box is loaded when Pic fetches files for you. Pic loads up the CHOOSE list when he searches the hard drives or when he downloads files form the internet. These are the items you choose to do something with. Get-it!
You can for instance, choose items from the CHOOSE list to preview. If you like a particular item in the CHOOSE list and would like to see/hear it again, you add it to the SAVING list.
When your done adding items to the SAVING list you save the SAVING list.
(Get it again!) When you save the SAVING list, you give it a name and it is saved. You can also password protect the list. Which hides them from prying eyes.
The arrangement of CHOOSE list and SAVING list is like having extra hands to do your chores with. The media interface DISPLAY DIALOG is what shows you the media. You can view the media in 2 ways. One as preview from the CHOOSE list and the other way is normally view the SAVING list.
When you want to preview the CHOOSE list you must first select the items you wish to view. The reason for this is so that you can view as many particular items of your CHOOSE list without having to preview all of them.
When you want to view the SAVING list you do not have to do any selections. You just simply open a previously saved list and view. When you want to use any of Pic's tools or control menu. You are instructed to make selections from either the CHOOSE or the SAVING list.
