There any many server monitoring tools available on the market that can perform routine checks on your business critical servers, however ServiceMonitor is a useful tool which actively monitors every service running on your Microsoft servers, alerting your systems administrators to any change in the status of your servers.

With other server monitoring tools, your systems administrators will waste many hours configuring which services need monitoring on which servers. However, with ServiceMonitor, it only takes a few clicks to be monitoring every service on every server on your network.

ServiceMonitor does not require any agents to be installed on your mission critical servers as these can interfere with the normal operation of your servers. ServiceMonitor is designed to be installed on your systems administrators desktop computers and remotely queries the state of your servers, alerting should any change in state be detected.

Not only can ServiceMonitor detect services stopping and starting, but it can also detect services being installed or uninstalled. ServiceMonitor is a useful tool for detecting security breaches that could otherwise go unnoticed.
