FindPath is designed to copy its path to the clipboard to shortcut the dialogue box navigation. FindPath by BB is a very little yet useful tool of only 5 kb. Just drag an drop a copy into the folder you want to navigate to, then double click it. Instantly, the folder path is copied to the clipboard. Then when you open a dialogue box, irrespective of where it defaults to, just paste in the folder path and navigate to it in one click.
FindPath is so small you can leave a copy in folders which you are likely to re-use without wasting disk space... just drag and drop wherever you like.
If you have a file in a folder deeply embedded somewhere on your hard drive run FindPath.exe in the folder to copy the path to the clipboard. You can then paste it to any OPEN or SAVE dialogue box to shortcut the navigation.
It's a SIMPLY visual basic module with just a few lines of code. The code is in the zip for those who are interested.
