Encrypting emails and short notes/texts can be a pain - you might need to install some bloated application into your email client which installs all kind of nasty DLLs - and then if you want to use another email client e.g. a web-based one you can't use it.
Crypto text is a little Windows tool which will allow you to encrypt a piece of using the AES (Rijndael) algorithm. Note - if you are encrypting messages to email to somebody else you will need to have agreed on a passphrase in advance. The program is extremely simple to use, doesn't require any installation and has a nice straightforward interface. And it comes with all the Delphi source code for you to inspect/modify if you desire.
