XECTool is a client program for XfccBasic Web Services.

XfccBasic is a Web Service protocol developed by Martin Bennedik and allows Chess Servers users to manage their chess games without using a web browser.

Games aren't stored client side so you won't have to be afraid of losing data.

XECTool features
  • Retrieves games from any number of servers using SOAP and Xfcc protocol.
  • Sends moves to server, with optional comments to your opponent
  • Offers and accepts draw and resignation.
  • The games can be exported to PGN files (or clipboard) and then used by other programs
  • Positions can be exported to EPD strings
