Winrental - Advanced point of sale software for video rental outlets.

It maintains customers, inventory and rental / sales information.
Winrental features include support for email reports, member image and overdues, reservations, sales taxes and direct barcode entry (with Code 39 and UPC-A barcode printing).

Winrental features
  • An acclaimed and powerful interface with the minimum of 'screen swapping' making it fast and effective. Written in the leading language C++ it has comprehensive keyboard shortcuts for most operations.
  • Each member can have a picture stored which dramatically reduces theft. The program will print membership cards with both photo ID and barcode.
  • Each user has to log on with all important operations logged so staff can be monitored. The menu items that are not to be available to standard users may be selected. The PIN rental facility can be used to prompt the customer for a code at the start of each rental. If a USB numeric keypad is added, the customer may alternatively be asked to tap the code in.
  • Each may be configured to work with your hardware. A custom receipt and byline may be designed. Several formats are built in ready to use.
  • A wide variety of takings, category, overdue and multiple copy reports are available. The F12 key pulls up an overview of the most useful information. An email report and log can be sent.
  • The program supports wedge type barcode readers and will print both most commonly used Code 39 and EAN (UPC-A) barcodes on a variety of labels.
  • The program will print several overdue letters with member and item detail, customizable membership forms and mailmerge (selected customers) circulars to increase your profitability.
  • A variety of special offers are supported from blanket pricing and day returns to configurable overrides. A closed day option is also available.
  • A comprehensive sundry inventory section is available to look after additional retail sales.
  • None, one or two taxes may be specified with configurable descriptions
