Client Folder
Each Client has his own folder where all his files are placed. You may customize Folders and add or remove folders and/or subfolders.

One Important aspect of consistent, logical and easy-to-use organization of your business information is automatic creation and naming of a special folder system.
Business Folder
All Client Folders are stored in the Business Folder, which is the central location with easy access. The Business folder containing Client folders, Translation Job folders, and translation jobs is accessible both from within Translation Office 3 as well as from within Microsoft Windows® Explorer.
Client Folders
The primary purpose of every Client Folder is to serve as a single storage location for all Job Folders of a particular Client. In addition to translation jobs, you may store other files relating to this particular client or translation agency (checklists, style guides, etc.).
How would you like having a clear overview of all your current jobs and deadlines whenever you want? You can. And it's not just a dull list, it's a vivid picture that shows a different color for every job (no highlight = completed, green = deadline is in the future, blue = translation job is due today, red =wake up, your job is overdue).
Job Folders
Each job folder contains all files pertaining to a particular translation job. You may customize the job folder creation system to also include the name of the Project Manager, the name of the Translation Job, the Client Reference Number, or the Purchase Order Number, in addition to the Job Code.
It is up to you to decide how to organize the folders in the job folder. It can be maintained automatically as well.

Multiple Volume Units (words, characters with spaces, characters without spaces, ... )
While words are the most widely used volume units to calculate quotes and translation jobs among freelance translators, translators and translation agencies in many countries use lines, pages (with various number of characters with or without spaces) or other custom volume units.
With Translation Office 3 you can use both words as well as any other text volume units (e.g. page of 1800 characters with spaces, page of 1500 characters without spaces, line of 50, 55 or 60, or 62 characters).
