jPDFFields is a Java library to work with interactive PDF forms - also called acroforms. jPDFFields can extract, merge or flatten acroform fields

jPDFFields is a software built on top of Qoppa's proprietary PDF technology so you won't need for any third party software or drivers.

jPDFFields features
  • Load PDF documents from files, network drives, URLs or input streams
  • Export fields data as FDF or XML (XFDF) files
  • Import fields data from FDF or XML (XFDF) files
  • Flatten form fields (paint the fields content directly in the page and remove fields themselves from the PDF document)
  • Save updated PDF file as file, an OutputStream or a ServletOutputStream
  • Written entirely in Java - allows your application to remain platform independent.

    Limitations
  • When saving an interactive pdf form, the evaluation library adds a watermark and the size is limited to 10 pages. Also, some fields values in the interactive form will be changed to "Demo Version".
