Awaiting to be downloaded. HPA - High precision arithmetic is able to help you compute simple arithmetic expressions with high precision, i.e., with a large number of significant correct digits.
If this is not the result you expect then you could ask HPA to compute it using 400 digit precission, and you will find out the result much more precisely.
HPA is also telling us that if you use standard arithmetic in a program (i.e. a spreadsheet), than you cannot compute a much simpler expression
HPA is a simple example of how the high precission arithmetics can be used.
There are many situations in which the simple precission is simply not enough. The standard artihmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) are very simple to be evaluated using this program. Just input fill in line A with the first operand and line B with the second operand and hit the button corresponding to the desired operator. The result will be displayed in the result window.
Additionaly, the program allows you to compute positive integer power of
positive real numbers. If A is a positive number and B is a positive integer,
and you hit the "Power" button the result of A^B (A to the power B) will be
displayed.
