EditPro is an award-winning text editor for programmers and webmasters.

EditPro text editor allows editing several files of unlimited size at a time. Syntax highlighting for HTML, Java, C/C++, Pascal/Delphi, ASP, PHP, Perl, CSS, etc. The program has fully customizable interface. It supports tools, projects, cliptext libraries and much more.

EditPro features
  • works under Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2/XP operating system (or higher);
  • multiple-document interface; the amount of simultaneously opened documents is limited only by the amount of free memory;
  • fully customizable interface with support for Microsoft Office 2 and Microsoft Office XP interface styles;
  • unlimited size of the documents;
  • syntax highlighting for HTML, C/C++, Pascal/Delphi, Java, Perl, ASP, PHP, CSS etc. You can customize existing and create your own syntax schemes with a powerful Syntax Scheme Editor (see screenshot);
  • projects. You can also specify a primary file. It is useful when you employ customizable tools. For example sometimes it's necessary to specify the primary file of the project as a parameter when a compiler is executed;
  • you can create tools that will launch specified programs or documents (e.g. browser for the current file). Several macro strings may be used (e.g. name of the active document, it's path, primary file name, etc);
  • integration with command line compilers;
  • customizable cliptext libraries and code templates. The distribution package includes two cliptext libraries (HTML Tags and HTML Special Characters) and two code template sets (for C++/Java/JScript and for Pascal/Delphi);
