Sun & Moon on Screen displays the Sun and the Moon on your desktop like you can see them in the sky.
This means when the Sun rises, you will notice that a small icon of the Sun rises on the left side of your taskbar, exactly where you've got the 'start' button.
And it sails through your desktop, then it culminates on the top of your desktop in the summer, and in the winter at the time of culmination you can see it in the middle of the screen. Then the evening comes and your tiny icon of Sun sets on the right side, just where you've got the clock.
The Moon does the same, in addition you can monitor the moonphases, too. The program works correctly all around the world, even at the Arctic pole. You have got nothing to do but type the correct coordinates (lat., long., timezone) for your location, and you can enjoy the show.
There's one thing that I have to mention. This software does not show correctly the eclipses of the Sun or the Moon. This means you might sometimes see your Moon hide the Sun. It does not necessarily means, there's an eclipse, just they are close to each other.
It is technically possible to display the eclipses correctly, but this program is mainly written for determining and displaying the rise and set times in form of icons. This is why an eclipse database is added to the program - to check whether there's an eclipse or not.
So whatch the Sun and the Moon on your screen and compare them with the reality you can see in your sky.
