Use Spanish Wordsgalore to learn up to 9,100 Spanish words using sound and text flash cards and word lists. It remembers which words you've marked as "known" so that they are removed from your rotation list.

It can also create MP3 files for your portable MP3 player. Initial download has only the 1,000 most common Spanish words, but all 9,100 words are freely available on the web site.

  • Make a better database system so words only need to be changed on the master_list.
  • Add an automated quiz function that remembers your scores and can disply the results to a teacher for all students on a given network.
  • Add support for Unicode to allow symbols for Hindi, Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, etc
  • Export to PocketPC, Linux, etc.
  • Patent, license: FMOD costs $100 and mp3 decoding costs $2,500 (if i distribute over 5,000) since it's an education/game title
  • Possibly use Speex encoding as well as MP3. Speex files could be up to 70% smaller with a loss in quality.
  • Enable MP3 encoding for collaborators.
  • Add text-to-speech
