Feel you need a program that can help you to keep trace of your entire music collection (CD, LP, mp3-CD, mp3-files, ...), but don't want to spend your evenings typing in the data?
MusicManager can help you with all of this!

MusicManager features
  • add CD's manually or automatically (requires a CD-drive and an Internet connection): pressing a button will look up the contents of the CD in your drive
  • scan mp3-CD's and get their contents in your database without typing
  • have the program scan selected directories for mp3-files and automatically add these to your database
  • comes with an extensive (but not as complete as the CDDB database) Vinyl database. Add your vinyl without typing (first 29 albums only for the unregistered version)
  • look up your records on the internet by specifying (part of) the name of the artist or (part of) the album title
  • add a comment to your albums
  • lookup albums without being connected to the Internet (you need to download a copy of the freedb and install it on your hard disk)
  • import (registered users only) / export data to CSV (Comma Separated Values) format (readable by e.g. Excel)
  • play your CD's without leaving the program
  • backup/restore your collection
  • check if an update is available
  • select which protocol to use to access the freedb servers
  • give the 'value' field a name of your choice
  • get a detailed overview of the types of albums you have
  • create/edit/print a playlist
