Duct Flow is a useful software designed to calculate the air flow parameters in ductwork. It gives the intermediate velocities, velocity pressures, static pressures and a running total of the static pressure for a ductwork path.
The ductwork path can be the whole path or just a portion of the path. By comparing path portions the program locates the critical path in a multi-branch system. The ductwork path or duct route is assembled as a list of duct items on a spreadsheet like grid.
The flow parameters for the entire duct path can be inspected at a glance and "what if?" options can be explored.
The items are duct lengths, fittings and devices such as filters. Commonly used items like elbows and branch entries are automatically evaluated and inserted. There is no need to use duct fitting look up tables.
To avoid repetitive entry, the flow and diameter parameters are only entered once. A paste function easily places the results into spreadsheets or word processors.
