Editor software represents a fast and feature-filled multiple document text editor.

Rivalling Windows® Notepad for speed, Editor makes it easy to create and edit any plain text-based documents such as text files, web pages, scripts or programming code. Better still, you can open several files in one maneouvre, and keep up to 99 documents open at once!

Editor has the extra ease-of-use of a rich text control - double-click a word without selecting the punctuation around it, triple-click a paragraph to select it, restructure text using drag-and-drop.

Editor makes text-work easier and more reliable than Notepad (particularly for users stuck with the buggy Windows 2000/XP Notepad version) and includes features found only in higher-level word processors. For instance, Editor offers a built-in spellchecker with over 20 language and speciality dictionaries for free download, thesaurus, 'live' spell checking, AutoCorrect, word-count, Cut/Copy to new document, and easy search and replace functions.

  • Cut and copy between documents: quick Cut/Copy To New Document options allow you to move text to a new document with one click.
  • Spellchecking and live spelling: built-in spell checking with over 20 language and technical dictionaries available, plus optional auto-correction and highlighting of spelling mistakes (similar to the spell-marking features in Microsoft Word)
  • Word count & formatting options: count the words or characters in the document and/or selection; format your code using block indent/unindent and trim spaces at the beginning of lines
  • Document history: quickly reopen your recently-used documents
  • Large text capacity: uses the RichEdit control for easier text selection, editing and large file support
