Break has been developed for helping the user work more effectively by recording his work times and reminding him when he's been working for too long. Work can be divided into five different categories, with maximum work capping for each category.
Break is ready to go the instant it is installed, but you will probably want to configure it so it more relevant to how you work. To start the timer click on the icon. When the time is up you will be notified and you can either go on break, or press Snooze if you are in the middle of a job and need an extra five minutes.
Break maintains a running total to show you how long you are on your computer, and what you do most on it. In addition, Break totalises time at work, on break and away from the computer.
The timer can be set from 15-90 minutes to remind you to get up and go for a walk, have a coffee, go home, go to bed etc.
Text logging, Target time notification, Auto reset, file logging & auto boot are also supported. Break is written in Assembly Language for maximum efficiency.
