You simply define your tasks and specify the number of people that you need on each task each day. Then you assign the tasks to your people each day from a drop-down menu. Initially the drop-down menu is fully loaded with all of the tasks that you specified for the day and as you assign a task to someone, it is removed from the drop-down menu. When the drop-down menu is empty you know you have assigned all of the daily tasks. It just can't get any easier than that.
You can schedule up to 3 groups of employees (say waiters, managers and bartenders or librarian, assistant librarian and student helper) with each group having it's unique menu and task needs.
You can define up to 10 vacation periods for each employee and the spreadsheet will not allow you to assign a task to someone who is scheduled for a vacation day.
The spreadsheet creates several different calendars and schedules including a file that you can import into your Outlook e-mail program or PDA so you will always have your schedule available for easy reference.
The Series S15-Easy Tasks spreadsheets comes in sizes to schedule 25, 50 and 100 employees.
