Save, delete, compress, detach and reattach large email attachments Add-In for Microsoft Outlook 2, 2002 and 2003/XP. Reduce disk space requirements and improve email system performance.

Files are auto-numbered to prevent name conflicts, and can be set to Read Only to avoid accidental deletion. Attachments can be deleted via the Recycle bin for safety, and can be reattached later.

Includes both the Outlook Add-In and the standalone version of DetachPipe.

DetachPipe is a software that allows you to improve server speed.

With DetachPipe you'll save huge amounts of disk space, and Outlook will be much faster and easier to backup as a result.

DetachPipe features
  • A clickable hyperlink to the attachment is left in each email
  • Detach to local machine or to UNC paths
  • Attachment numbering is handled automatically (e.g. multiple attachments called resume.doc will be renamed to resume.doc, resume1.doc, resume2.doc etc)
  • Attachments can be deleted via the Recycle Bin for extra safety
  • Process emails in any .PST file or in Public Folders
